Reed James has definitely become skilled at interweaving paranormal erotica with the modern college world and he's writing at the top of his game in the opener to his new series. The Pixie's Passion is replete with lyrical, sensual, highly erotic language and imagery that combines an intriguing story with creative, kinky, unending sexual encounters as Maeve leaves the realm of the Fairee to journey to Tacoma in order to find the mortal champion Gunnar who will battle Winter in order to ensure eternal Summer. I cannot wait to read further entries in this beautiful and erotic story.
I swear this author has a direct line to my vagina and knows how to make her purr. This is another 2 finger 1 handed read. The F/F and the M/F scenes are superbly written and very erotic and filthy hot. Well done! I think what I like most about this is that with erotica you get a story but the focus is on the sexual relationship. Or at least that has been my experience. This book gives you a really good balance of both, a good story and what you expect from an erotica. So you’re intrigued and engaged with the story and then all of the sudden you’re turned on and…. well… I’ll let you fill in the blank.
Overall, it was perfect for me. Even though there were a couple of things that may have tilted my head and squinted my eye at…. the story more than made up for it. Action, adventure, purpose, excellent character development, world building and don’t forget about the amazing sex. Just an all around fantastic and very well written story and I can’t wait to devour more!

If it wasn't for this book being a sexual romp i'd give it 1 star and ask for a kindle unlimited refund.
This story isn’t much more than an excuse to cram as many sex scenes as possible into a book. The plot is marginal. The main character is an idiot who takes up with a girl he saw / heard having sex with multiple guys right after getting his heart ripped out by his gf pulling a train. None of it works.
Then there is the horrible writing quality. If there’s a homonym the author didn’t cross up its because they don’t know the other word. The used adjectives as adverbs, and failed to capitalize proper nouns often. Yikes.
The sex scenes can’t come close to making this book worth reading.
I love reading Reed’s books, in facts I request them. This man knows exactly how to get in and down and dirty, if you know what I mean.
The part that I found most unique was this book involved faeries! Don’t get me wrong, I’ve read and seen faeries have intercourse, but not through the eyes and fingers of Reed James!
Mauve must face obstacles for the man her heart craves, to quote Reed James

The queen whose name is Mab, she sends into the hunt one of her very own trusted servants where she hopes he will find and bind the Mortal Champion to Winter in hopes of making things the way she wants them to be. With her hopes of success, she can win the balance between Summer and Winter. Queen Mab wants to win and end this war.
Gunnar will go to the small college campus in hopes to prove his own destiny. At the College there is so much to learn, and so many new things to experience that he hadn’t expected.
Pixie cannot believe what Queen Titania has chosen to do! She fears for the worst, and hopes for the best. Pixie must put forth her passion and trust her instincts and make it her goals to help with this war. She must make the right choices.
The Mortal World will soon get a surprise visit as Maeve heads there to visit it and see what she can do to help. She has but only one goal. And she can’t help but trust her heart.
I give this book five stars, it was truly an exceptional read. I wasn’t planning on reading a story like this, when Reed sent this to me, but I soon enough feel deeply in love with his work like always. His work is truly tasty, and designed to keep you wanting more, in more ways than one. I loved that there was a great story line, and a lot romance, with the perfect amount of pleasure. A truly astounding pleasing book. A must read for those who like fae’s and sex with an excellent plot twist!
If you read the Fallen Angels then you have a good idea where this one is going. If you like that one you'll like this one.
Enjoyed reading as it had a good plot and an interesting outlook at what can be. This definitely a book for adults only.
